Rumi on RoHun Therapy

The Guest House
by RumiThis being human is a guesthouse.
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
Some momentary awareness comes
As an unexpected visitor.Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they’re a crowd of sorrowsWho violently sweep your house empty of its furniture,
Still, treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out for some new delight. The dark though, the shame, the malice, meet them at the door laughingly, and invite them in.
Be grateful for whoever comes, because each has been sent as a guide from beyond.
RoHun Therapy is a energy-based bio-field therapy that guides us to identify limiting thought patterns which keep us feeling disconnected and blocks us from attracting good in our life. A team effort, the therapist works within the energy field of the client and specifically addresses each of the seven major chakras. The subconscious brings up that which the client most needs to address and, together, the client and therapist identify the limiting thought behind the conflictive emotion or what Carl Jung called “the reactive self” as it is also called in RoHun. Once the thought is identified, the client has a “choice” to let it go (forgive) in compassion or not. If the choice is to let go, the limiting thought is replaced with a healthy uplifting thought conducive to our greatest good. Through cleansing each chakra this way, blocked life force energy, our vitality, is released allowing the opened, balanced and freely flowing élan vital to ascend and descend in gorgeous spirals through out the energetic matrix. Consequently we feel a sacred connection to our life and all life and this enhances all aspects of living.
There are seven major chakras that are aligned along the centerline of our bodies. Each chakra is a clearinghouse of energetic information. RoHun therapists are trained in higher sense perception, hypnotherapeutic and bio-field techniques, which define the method of RoHun. This method assists in bypassing the thinking mind and allows for a compassionate yet detached view of the challenge imposed by the limiting thought. When we are healthy, well and happy, our chakras reflect this through naturally being open, connected and flowing. When any kind of trauma occurs it causes a compromise in the chakra. This is due to a protective reaction of ‘survival’ and our mind records the data and our energy field stores it. Oftentimes this old recording remains causing problems or a block in our present lives. This block can impact and influence thoughts about relationship, work, life, our place in the world, our self-esteem, how we view others, our ability to manifest our gifts, how we express ourselves and our creativity.
Feelings of unworthiness, helplessness, fright, judgment and other emotions can manifest from thoughts born out of moments in our past where we experienced something and our mind interpreted the situation as “I’m unlovable”, “I can’t do it”, “If I speak, I’ll get hurt”, “I’m not good enough”. These thoughts continue to affect us. They are underneath feelings of being victimized or disconnected from life, feeling judgmental towards others and feeling like we are not being true to ourselves. Ah, there’s so many more ways our inventive mind, all in the name of survival, keeps us cut off from the things and people we love. Most importantly it keeps us shut off from the Love that is the core of who we are.
And Love is the key to it all. The first step in RoHun helps us to deeply relax to where we are meditative, conscious and very alert to the voices of our inner world. The therapist then assists the client in remembering that place inside that is All Compassion, All Love and Kindness and is Supremely Altruistic. For some it is a Divine presence, for others it is the innate goodness at the core of their humanity. However that connection to the greater good is for the client the therapist assists them in completely immersing themselves in it until they become One with that energy. In RoHun we call it the “Loving Self”. This “Loving Self” knows no shame, blame or separation. This place is only, profoundly, one of acceptance, inclusion and Oneness. The client then begins to journey, viewing through the eyes of the “Loving Self”, the reactive selves such as judging self, jealous self, unworthy self, frightened self etcetera which lead to the underlying thought patterns. Through the eyes of our “Loving self” we can see how these thoughts were born, how they have served us and how they are stopping us now. Then we will be given a choice to keep or release it. When we come to an understanding of how this pattern was born, how it has served and affected ourselves and others, we can let go (forgive) of these reactive selves/limiting thoughts which hinder our personal growth and progress. With the help of the Loving Self, we bring in kindness and compassion. which dissolves all away, and choose to reprogram ourselves with thoughts that uplift and support us in new wonderful ways of living fully.
RoHun facilitates a deep exploration of the self that ultimately allows us to reacquaint ourselves to our talents, abilities, gifts and our Loving light filled Core. Our senses are heightened, insight occurs. Confidence in who we are on this Earth grows and gratitude flows. From here we know and organically express our true loving nature walking our talk and living compassionately. RoHun becomes a way of life for as we have now gone through the process of viewing and healing our reactive selves and limiting thoughts we are left with a formula we can use as our reactive selves show up in our lives. As Rumi says: “Still, treat each guest honorably. He may be clearing you out for some new delight.” No doubt about it, Rumi. No doubt about it.
In the words of a client:
“The RoHun Purification has been one of the most positive experiences of my life. I truly feel like a new me …! Of all the wonderful changes I feel, one of which I notice most is how fine tuned/heightened my senses are! Things feel, smell, and taste wonderful; I can hear the slightest sounds of nature and my vision is so crystal clear! Of course, nothing compares to the inside feelings of wholeness, joy and peace I feel which have been missing for so long!" - KG, Seymour, CT
